Keep Staff and Patrons Safe Using These 3 Platform Enhancements


To help facilitate safer social distancing checkouts, Communico has made three updates to our platform. These updates are available to new and existing customers at no charge:


  1. The ability for patrons to schedule curbside appointments online, by phone, or from within Engage, our patron app.
  2. A "lite" version of Roam, our mobile point of service application. This will allow staff to checkout and return items  curbside and at outreach events using an iOS or Android device. 
  3. And for customers with Engage, adding self-checkout capabilities so patrons may checkout materials on their own devices by using the library's app.
